Para Ti NGO, located in a small community in “Vila Canoas” in Rio de Janeiro, was founded in 1989. For over 30 years, they have been helping children in need who live in the surrounding areas, supplying them with food and helping them with their studies & homework. Para Ti survives with the help of volunteers, and it is a place where children are taken care of while not in school.
On the 21st of March, “World Social Work Day”, Hantec’s Committee of Social Responsibility organised a visit which was conducted by Hantec team members, who visited the NGO and prepared a joyful afternoon with fun and didactic activities for the Para Ti children.
“#WSWD2023 provides an opportunity to acknowledge how communities can make powerful actions that lead to inclusive social transformation”.
As a company, it is our commitment to make a positive impact across the world and demonstrating it through our actions. We believe every small action can make a difference to create a better future for children.
As we strive to empower financial freedom, we believe financial education should be taught from an early age. Hence, we put together an easy and understandable lecture with the help of puppets about the importance of saving for the future and gave each child a piggy bank to decorate and keep. In addition, Hantec Markets also donated school materials which are much needed by the centre.
